Uganda’s long-distance runner three-time Jacob Kiplimo has broken the Half Marathon world file on the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon.
In Lisbon, the three time world cross nation champion triumphed in a world file of 57:20 on the World Athletics Elite Label avenue race on Sunday.
Kiplimo took 10 seconds off Yomif Kejelcha’s official world file for the area. Sooner than Kejelcha produced that mark in Valencia in 2024, Kiplimo had held the sooner world file at 57:31, which he achieved in Lisbon in 2021.
