England’s Natalie Metcalf says it “will take a while to course of absolutely” after she was dominated out of the Commonwealth Video games in Glasgow due to a calf damage.
The 33-year-old, who had returned to motion final December following the start of her daughter 14 months in the past, picked up the problem on Monday and has been dominated out following scans.
Metcalf helped England win Commonwealth Video games gold on the Gold Coast in Australia eight years in the past and was the one participant within the 2026 squad who featured in that 2018 triumph.
